The TB pathway document outlines the procedures for referrals in N E Lincolnshire for the Community TB Service. This should be referred to by Primary Care should they suspect a patient and/or their family/contacts has been exposed to TB or is newly registered from a country where TB is prevalent.

No red flags

Patients should be referred to the Community TB Service if a patient presents with symptoms of TB or if they are a new entrant from a country where TB is prevalent

DO NOT REFER

Practices should not refer to the Community TB Service for any other suspected condition other than TB

REFERRAL CRITERIA

The referral form should be emailed to the service provider (referral form available on Ardens).
